One of the easiest ways to start making money online is with ready-made products in the form of resale rights. With a license to duplicate and distribute other people’s products, your workload and learning curve is greatly reduced and of course you get to keep 100% of the profits.

However don’t be mislead that you can make a fortune simply by putting a sales page up online and expecting you will get enough visitors clicking on your buy now button to enable you to give up the day job.

The key to success with resale rights is “creativity”. I shall explain that more later on.

Resale rights products come in many different forms which can give you an indication as to their current and future profitability.

Types Of Licenses

Resale Rights License:  Typically in this case you may take the product and duplicate and resell it as is. You are not able to pass resale rights to the product onto your customer.

Rebrandable Resale Rights: These are similar to regular resale rights except you are allowed to make some modifications to the product such as giving it a new title, graphics or create your own sales letter.

Master Resale License:  In this instance not only may you sell the product but you may also grant your customers resale rights too. These are just three general examples but they are certainly not cast in stone. Each product license may have slightly different terms and conditions which can greatly affect the value (and future value) of the product.

With so many resale rights products available on the market you have limitless opportunities to get creative and build unique sales funnels. The most common strategy is to use a front end – back end sales system.

In this model what you would do is promote a low cost product such as an ebook for say $7 (or £5GBP). Your prospect doesn’t have to think too long and hard about that purchase but once you have a customer you have an opportunity to up-sell other related but more valuable products.

For instance if you sell an ebook about Forex Currency Trading you could up-sell a video course for $47 (or £30GBP). If 100 people bought your $7 ebook and out of those 20 bought your video course then your total income would be $1,640 (or £1,100).

What if you were able to offer a more valuable home-study course for $197 (or £127GBP) and 2 people took you up on that. If you could do these figures every month then your yearly income from this would be over $24,000 (or £16,000)... and that’s from just one market. Imagine have four or five similar markets and being able to cross-sell too!

Going up another level when you become more knowledgeable in your chosen market you could offer live workshop events which can be priced at anything from £497 to £4,997! You could then sell the recordings of the event, or even the resale rights of the recording to the event... this is where real fortunes can be made!

These figures aren’t just theoretical either I’m actually making a good income from resell rights products and so too are many others.

How You Get Started

Starting at the very beginning you need a minimum of two products. The first is a free report, similar to the one you are reading right now. Such reports are not difficult to create, if you have a little knowledge or passion for the subject matter then a simple 10-15 page report should be quite easy to produce.

In the body of the report you should include links to your second product. As per the previous example your free report could be something along the lines of “Forex Trading For A Living” and your second product could be the “Forex Trading Video Course”.

Once your report is ready what you need to do is create a “squeeze page” so you can collect email addresses, then when someone signs up the report can be digitally delivered to them automatically by a piece of software called an auto-responder. Let me show you an example:-

This is just a single page which lists some benefits of the report being offered alongside the opt-in form. It’s a simple model and works well. Typically it converts anywhere between 30-50% for targeted traffic. We’ll talk about easy traffic generation methods in following articles.
