In the previous article "Make Money With Resell Rights" we discussed writing a report. You can take your report and extract chunks from it, rewrite it and use that to submit articles to various article directories. You can also write original articles along similar lines to your report. Popular article directories are Ezine Articles (http://ezinearticles.com) and Go Articles (http://goarticles.com).

The reason articles like this work so well is because at the end of each of your articles you can have what’s called a resource box. This is a short 2-3 sentence paragraph which can contain a link to your report’s squeeze page.

Also because article directories are made up of so much continually updated content they rank really highly in the search engines so if your article contains well targeted keywords then you could get thousands of views over time leading to hundred of clicks and sign-ups for you.

Participate In A Forum

Whatever your chosen subject matter there will be a forum(s) which you can join online to connect with like-minded people. Often when you join a forum you will be able to create a profile about yourself and create what is known as signature box, this is usually text which is added to the end of each post you make on the forum.

When you create your signature make sure you include a clickable link that leads back to your squeeze page, for example: “free report reveals 5 must have elements of high converting squeeze pages. Click here to get it now...” Then set some time aside to participate in the forum and create or respond to posts.

Don’t be a spammer and push your report beyond what’s already in your signature box. If you’re a regular contributor with good posts it will get noticed.

Social Marketing

Facebook in particular presents a great opportunity to promote your products to like-minded individuals. The whole purpose of a social networking site after all is to bring people with common interests together.

You will most probably be able to find existing groups and fanpages on Facebook related to your product topic that you can join right away. Again similar to forum marketing don’t be a spammer. Set yourself up as a respected member of a group with useful content to share.

Facebook will allow you to create your own fanpage which could be dedicated to something (or someone) related to your product that people would want to become a fan of... get this right and you could be attracting hundreds of new fans every month and you can post status updates which can appear in their newsfeeds.

Fanpages are free to set up but Facebook also lets you run highly targeted paid for ads (much like Google Adwords™ but much more internet marketer friendly)!

Giveaway Events

A giveaway event is one where a group of marketers get together and giveaway products to anyone who joins. Each marketer is expected to promote the event to their own list.

As you can image there can be lots of marketers who wish to participate in a giveaway event so there’s competition to get your product listed high in the rankings during the event. Typically the marketer who refers the most subscribers to the giveaway event gets the most credit and has their product listed higher on the page.

If you’re just starting out and can’t yet refer many subscribers then there are events which will list your product higher for a small price. Once the event is underway and your product is listed, anyone who wants it can download it for free – in exchange for their email address – this is how you build your list.
